Junior League – U/6 to U/12

The purpose of Junior League Football (Under 6 to Under 12) is for both boys and girls kids to have fun and learn to play the game of Rugby League. It introduces skills like passing the ball and scoring tries on a smaller field.

It is non-competitive and provides the kids a healthy lifestyle within a team sport. Safety is paramount in every aspect and all referees apply a Safe Play Code to ensure unsafe play does not eventuate. Flagstone Phoenix BRLC teams have qualified trainers at each game to help your son or daughter out.

The Junior League laws of the game can be accessible online (PDF). When you get the chance to read it, you will see the rules of Junior League Football is different to what you see on TV.

Note: The National Safe Play Code is adopted for all matches. These are enforced by the referees of the Brisbane Rugby League Referees Association.
